Palomakis mark 60th anniversary at family dinner

Mr. and Mrs. William M. Palomaki of Struthers celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 15 with a family dinner hosted by their children.

They are Cindy and Dave Benedict of North Lima and Bill and Liz Palomaki of Youngstown. The family circle is completed by four grandchildren, Brandon, Jaiden and Devan Palomaki, and Olesia Benedict.

The former Marian D. Dankovich and Mr. Palomaki were married May 12, 1956, at Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers.

The Palomakis are members of Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg.

Mrs. Palomaki is a homemaker. Her husband worked at Sears for 36 years. Mr. Palomaki is an U.S. Army veteran, and served in Japan and Korea during the Korean War.
