Golf scramble will benefit foster children

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning County Children Services Foster Parent Association is hosting a golf scramble June 11 at Parto’s Golf Learning Center, 2231 Coitsville-Hubbard Road. There will be a 10 a.m. shot-gun start, and the event will include long drive and closest-to-the-pin contests, 50-50 raffle and basket auction.

Cost will be $100 for four-person teams and will include drinks and lunch. Registration is required by June 5. Make checks payable to the Foster Parents Association.

All proceeds will benefit children in foster care. The FPA provides fun activities for foster children like bowling, pool and parties, and supplies Mahoning County Children Services with items needed for children when the come into foster care.
