Simply Slavic festival June 18 to include baking contest

YOUNGSTOWN

The Simply Slavic Cultural Heritage Festival is set for noon to midnight June 18 in Youngstown, and will include a baking contest.

Any baker is welcome to participate, but entries must be a culturally Slavic baked goods.

Entries will be served to judges at room temperature, so nothing can be entered that must be refrigerated or served warm.

The deadline to enter is June 10.
