Miss Courtney to be bride of Dr. Toolson

FERNDALE, MICH.

Michelle Courtney and Dr. Ryan Toolson, both of Ferndale, Mich., are announcing their engagement.

The future bride is a daughter of Dave and Shelly Courtney of Canfield. Greg and Tina Toolson of Caldwell, Idaho, are the prospective groom’s parents.

The couple will be married Oct. 15 during an open ceremony at 2 p.m. at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be extended for a reception to take place at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield.

Miss Courtney earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is employed as a training specialist with Huntington Bank in Michigan.

A graduate of the University of Idaho with bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and psychology, Dr. Toolson earned his medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He is pulmonary critical-care fellow with Beumont Health Systems in Michigan.
