Youngstown robbery suspect and victim arraigned in same court today

YOUNGSTOWN

Jordan Kennedy was arraigned on a robbery charge today in municipal court, and the person he was accused of robbing was arraigned in that same court on drug charges.

Kennedy is accused of taking money and other items from Anna Jones in April.

Kennedy, 24, of East Marion Avenue, is in the Mahoning County jail on $25,000 bond on charges of aggravated robbery, obstructing official business and tampering with evidence.

Jones, 54, of East Avondale Avenue, is in the jail on $15,000 bond after she was arrested at about 5 p.m. Thursday at her home on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to reports, members of the vice squad who served a search warrant at her home investigating drug activity found 26 bags of suspected crack cocaine on a couch, a bag of suspected crack cocaine in her bra, a pill bottle filled with suspected marijuana cigarettes, a scale and about $400 in cash.
