MVMC awards first-ever scholarship

CANFIELD — The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition honored the recipient of their first-ever MVMC scholarship in the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center at 9 a.m. today.

Salem High School senior, Kevin Gentile, accepted a certificate and a $1,000 scholarship at the MVMC member meeting.

The scholarship will pay for part of Gentile's tuition while he attends the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in September where he will pursue a career in welding.
