Up to 40 full-time customer service representative positions are available.

New set of emerging leaders graduate from program

Youngstown

On Tuesday, the Mahoning Valley’s community stakeholders gathered at The Soap Gallery in downtown Youngstown to celebrate the completion of The Raymond John Wean Foundation’s 2016 Emerging Leaders program.

Twenty residents from Warren and Youngstown participated in the nine-week experience designed to leverage their unique assets and cultivate fundamental leadership skills.

The program began with a two-day retreat in April followed by sessions facilitated by notable researchers and practitioners covering topics such as communication and negotiation, decision-making, strategic partnerships, driving change and managing conflict and resilience.

Maven car-sharing program added to three more cities

DETROIT

In less than four months, Maven, General Motors’ personal mobility brand, has grown to five markets: New York City, Ann Arbor, Mich., and on Thursday, GM announced, Boston, Chicago and Washington, D.C., have been added. Maven members have driven more than one million miles.

The Maven City car-sharing program is now in operation, with pricing starting at $8 per hour, including insurance and fuel. Registered customers use the Maven app to reserve one of 30 vehicles at more than 15 sites throughout the city.

GM receives five Vincentric awards for Best Fleet Value

DETROIT

General Motors announced Friday that five of its vehicles have earned Vincentric 2016 Best Fleet Value in America awards.

In the 11 years since the program began, more GM vehicles have won Vincentric awards than any other manufacturer.

These awards are used by fleet operators to understand vehicle life-cycle costs, which are a key part of the purchase-decision process.

GM Best Fleet Value winners: Chevrolet Impala Limited LS, Chevrolet Express G2500, GMC Sierra 1500, Chevrolet Silverado 2500 and Chevrolet Silverado 3500.
