When: Saturdays through June 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Details: Plants are for sale individually or mix and match as a “garden in a flat.” We offer a variety of veggies, herbs, flowers, blueberry bushes and strawberry hanging baskets.

Peepers!

When: Saturday, 8:30 to 10 p.m. Listen to the sounds of frogs. Remember: Tonight is for listening, not catching. Wear boots. We hope the nearly full moon will brighten our walk, but flashlights are permitted. Moderate, 1.5 miles.

CATCHING BUGS

When: Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. Explore the diverse and extraordinary world of insects through catch and release. Join our staff for a guided bug-catching session on the preserve. Bring your favorite bug net and jars or borrow ours. No registration required.

Wagon Rides

When: Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. Tractor-wagon rides leave about every half-hour for a guided tour through Mill Creek MetroParks Farm. Barns are open to visit the animals. Donations are accepted. Craft fee $1. Barns will be open every weekend, but weekend wagon rides are only offered as scheduled.

Botanical Mornings

When: May 27, 9 to 10 a.m. Discover the joy in the blossoming spring at Fellows Riverside Gardens with one of our knowledgeable staff members.

EXPLORERS

When: May 26, 10 to 11:30 a.m. The Explorers will learn about the origins, importance, and process of bird banding, weather permitting. Live birds will be banded and released as part of the program. Participants must be age 7 to 11. Registration is limited, required and closes May 25.
