Kiwanis honor Vindicator spelling bee winners

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | The Kiwanis Club of Youngstown recently honored the grand champion and runner-up from the 83rd annual Vindicator Regional Spelling Bee that took place March 12. Club President Anthony D’Apolito, above, left, presented Barnes & Noble gift cards to runner-up Nina Dill, center, of the Montessori School, and grand champion Ryan Staton from Jackson-Milton. Ryan will represent the Valley at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C., from Sunday through Friday.
