Big Chuck, Little John in event for museum

CORTLAND

Greene Eagle Winery, 2576 Davis-Peck Road, will present Music, Comedy and Wine, featuring Big Chuck and Little John, at 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10, and proceeds benefit the National Packard Museum in Warren.

Big Chuck and Little John, who were television hosts on Cleveland’s Channel 8, will perform their comedy routine. The evening also will include a pizza-eating contest. Food and wine will be available for purchase, and there will be vendors, a raffle and music by the Take II Band.

Demos Papadimas at the Yoga Room

Warren-based singer-songwriter Demos Papadimas will give an intimate show to mark the recent release of his second album, “Waiting,” at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Yoga Room, 815 Youngstown-Warren Road (in Niles Park Plaza). Admission is $10 to this all-ages event.

Classic-rock tribute bands at Ledges

GARRETTSVILLE

Classic Fest, a classic-rock tribute band festival, will take place June 10-12 at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park. It will feature Led Zeppelin tribute act Kashmir (June 10) and Pink Floyd tribute Several Species (June 11).

Other acts will include Satisfaction (Rolling Stones), Limelight (Rush), Whipping Post (Allman Brothers), Ragged Glory (Neil Young), Going for the One (Yes), Minstrel in the Gallery (Jethro Tull) and Ball n Chain (Janis Joplin).

Fundraiser tickets to Playhouse show

YOUNGSTOWN

Tickets for a musical production and party at Youngstown Playhouse are being sold as a fundraiser for the John C. Cox Memorial Fund at Youngstown State University.

For $25, purchasers will receive a prime seat to “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum” at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the theater and will be invited to a VIP party before the show, and during intermission, in the Playhouse’s community room.
