ADI provides info to DOT for final approval of Youngstown/Chicago flights

VIENNA — Aerodynamics Inc. today provided the U.S. Department of Transportation the information it requested to approve Chicago/Youngstown air service.

Instead of giving final approval on the service, in a May 3 filing the DOT requested Aerodynamics, or ADI, to provide more information.

ADI has now provided the DOT with an updated certificate of insurance, citizenship information for the director of safety, security and compliance, third-party verification that ADI’s funds meet the department’s financial fitness test, verification of commitment of funds from John Beardsley, ADI’s owner and ADI’s most recent income statement.

The delay in receiving final approval from the DOT has set the Chicago/Youngstown service start date back to July 1. The daily flights 10 times a week were initially to begin June 1.
