Villa Maria offers summer camps

VILLA MARIA, PA.

Registration is being accepted for two summer day camps for children and youth at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center.

Children ages 5 to 12 are invited to choose Thursday or Friday sessions for GROW Camp, a once-a-week gardening camp from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 16 or 17 to Aug. 11 or 12. Activities will include planting and tending a garden, swimming and nature activates and experiences.

Youth ages 10 to 16 will learn and use outdoor skills at the 2016 Outdoor Teen Camp held weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 11-15 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Activities and skills will be fire building and campfire cooking, hiking and using a compass, first aid, building a shelter and swimming. Lunch and snacks will be provided during both camps.
