12th 'Unity in Community' parade, day set for June 4

YOUNGSTOWN

Presenting youth in a positive light and showcasing resources in the Mahoning Valley to help them remains the primary purpose behind the “Unity in the Community” parade and Community Day.

Warriors Inc. and Eagles Christian Preschool are co-sponsors of the 12th annual event June 4.

“We want to connect the community to resources and resources to the community,” said Wendy Robinson, community ministry liaison.

Parade participants include businesses, community organizations, nonprofit agencies, churches, community leaders and politicians.

Community and high-school bands and choirs are encouraged to participate to share their talents. Deadline to register and complete an application is May 27.
