Phantoms coach leaving

YOUNGSTOWN

Youngstown Phantoms co-owner Troy Loney has announced that head coach John Wroblewski has resigned to join the U.S. National Development program.

Wroblewski took over the team last July after Phantoms head coach Anthony Noreen joined the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears after four years as head coach.

Under Wroblewski, the Phantoms went 31-20-9, earning 71 points to finish in fifth place in the USHL's Eastern Conference. The Phantoms finished seven points behind the Bloomington Thunder for the final playoff spot in the conference.
