Local partners write children's book series

Youngstown State University and Poland Seminary Alumna Lori Smith along with her business partner, Amy Loring, collaborated to write a children’s book series.

Smith graduated from YSU in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in education. She and Loring are co-developers of an educational consulting business, Two Teachers on the Edge LLC.

The book series is “What Do I Want to Be When I Grow Up?”

There are 19 books in the series that explore occupations in prose.

The books are for children age 4 to 13 and include high-impact vocabulary in a fun way.

The first two books recently have been released through Tate Publishing, Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
