Badfish returns to Nelson Ledges

GARRETTSVILLE

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park will present Spring Badfish on June 3-5, featuring two nights with Badfsih, the nation’s premier Sublime tribute band.

In addition to two nights with the band, Spring Badfish will feature NLQP favorites Tropidelic, Shrub, Drunken Funk, Figurehead, Color Wheel and more.

Admission is $75 ($60 presale) for Friday through Sunday, or $55 ($45 presale) for Saturday through Sunday. There is no extra charge for camping. Go to nlqp.com.

Idora Park lecture at Tyler Center

The Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s next Bites and Bits of History lunch program will be Thursday at noon at the Tyler Mahoning Valley History Center, 325 W. Federal St., with Jim and Toni Amey on “The Idora Park Experience.”

The Ameys have acquired a collection of artifacts from the former amusement Park on the city’s South Side. Their ultimate goal is to secure a permanent public home for the collection in the Mahoning Valley.

Parking for Thursday’s event is available for $2 in the lot on the west side of the History Center.
