Clinton will need thicker skin

Hillary Clinton is qualified, strong and certainly has the chops to be president.

She is also very paranoid.

Clinton’s backers are spending more than $1 million to find and confront social media users who post unflattering messages about her on the Internet.

Clinton should know that Internet trolling is a full time job for many people, who sit in their mother’s basement in their underwear and anonymously send the vilest messages they can.

I get plenty of them myself. So do most writers, and anybody in the public eye like Clinton.

She needs to live with it. If she becomes president, it will get 10 times worse. Just ask Barack Obama about the comments he gets from Internet numbskulls.

Social media have done a lot of good, but they have also given the worst among us a chance to spew venom, do it anonymously and pretend they are big shots.

And facts don’t matter to the trolls. Clinton needs a thicker skin.

She has faced criticism ever since her husband became president. It’s only going to get worse as the campaign heats up.

Donald Trump’s no-information robots will go after her with every cockamamie theory, just as Trump does. Did you hear his latest garbage that Clinton wants to get rid of the Second Amendment? As I said, facts don’t matter.

Hillary Clinton needs to run her campaign and not let the outside noise affect her.

The anonymous jerks don’t matter. She needs to toughen up and realize that.
