DOCTORATE

Physical therapy degree

Craig Giambattista, formerly of Boardman, recently earned a doctorate of physical therapy degree from Ohio State University.

He is a 2008 graduate of Boardman High School. He graduated summa cum laude with a degree in exercise science from the University of Akron, where he was a founding member and first president of the Exercise Science Club.

He successfully completed his state board examination and has accepted a physical therapist position at a sports medicine clinic in Avon Lake.

DOCTORS

Dental surgery degree

Elizabeth Pritchard, daughter of David and Tracey Pritchard of Canfield, earned a doctor of dental surgery degree from Ohio State University College of Dentistry earlier this month.

She is a 2008 graduate of Canfield High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Miami University in 2012.

Dr. Pritchard has joined a dental practice in River Falls, Wis.
