YOUNGSTOWN

Several roads will close Monday in Mahoning and Trumbull counties, the Ohio Department of Transportation has announced.

State Route 165 will be closed in Goshen Township, Mahoning County, between Duck Creek and Stratton roads through May 27 for two culvert replacements.

The detour will be over state Routes 14 and 14 T to U.S. Route 62 and state Route 45.

In Farmington Township, Trumbull County, state Route 534 just south of state Route 88 will be closed through mid-September for two bridge replacements.

The detour will be state Route 88 to U.S. Route 422.

In Braceville Township, Trumbull County, state Route 303 over the Ohio Turnpike will close until late May for turnpike bridge repairs.

The detour will be state Route 88 to state Route 82.

Also, beginning Monday, Interstate 80, eastbound and westbound, between state Route 193 in Liberty Township and U.S. Route 422 in Girard will have various nightly lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. for road widening until further notice.

Traffic on Interstate 80 eastbound between the Mahoning County line and U.S. Route 422 has two lanes maintained and traffic shifted, using the far left lane and left shoulder.

This work is part of a $91.5 million project to widen I-80 between state Routes 11 and 193. The entire project is scheduled for completion by late July 2018.

Also starting Monday, U.S. Route 224 over the Ohio Turnpike in Canfield Township will be reduced to one lane in each direction through mid-June while the turnpike makes bridge repairs.

The bridge carrying state Route 46 and U.S. Route 62 over the turnpike in Canfield, which closed last Monday, will remain closed for repairs for about two more weeks.

The official detour is U.S. Route 224 to state Route 11 to I-80.
