Amy Smail and Christopher Dalman, both of San Diego, exchanged vows at a 5 p.m. beach ceremony Sept. 18, 2015, at Catamaran Beach Resort, San Diego. It was officiated by Gary Faucher, a friend of the couple. A reception followed at the ballroom at the resort.
The parents of the bride are George and Anna Smail of Canfield, and the parents of the groom are Jeff Dalman of Auburn, Wash., and Anna Koekkoek of Dawson, Ill.
The bride wore an ivory satin charmeuse gown with an overlay of cafe lace adorned with crystals. It was completed with covered buttons and a chapel train.
Sister of the bride, Mandie Ronyak, was matron of honor, and Matea and Makenzie Ronyak, the bride’s nieces, were flower girls. The attendants wore royal blue dresses.
Brother of the groom, Niko Dalman, was best man.
Mrs. Dalman attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and Youngstown State University, and earned a degree in psychology from University of Phoenix. She is a senior marine mammal trainer. She worked for Sea World in San Diego and is employed by Sea World in Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Dalman graduated from Cleveland State University with a degree in biology. He is an aerial performer and rigging specialist for Aerial Effects contracted by Sea World and Universal Studios.
The Dalmans’ wedding trip took them across the country to their new home in Orlando. A honeymoon is planned for a later date.
