Miss Tedde, Mr. McLhinney are engaged

The engagement of Rebekah Ruth Tedde and Derek William McLhinney is being announced by their parents, Peter and Linda Tedde of Hubbard, and Jeffrey and Deborah McLhinney of Boardman.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Aug. 8 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, and a reception will follow at the Basilica Social Hall. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Youngstown State University, and is employed in a management position at Rite-Aid Pharmacy.

The prospective groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, and is employed as a personal banker with Huntington National Bank.
