3rd HOPE conference underway at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN — The 3rd annual Hope Conference began in the Kilcawley Center at Youngstown State University at 9 a.m.

The event, organized by C.I.R.V. (Community Initiative to Reduce Violence) had more than 40 tables representing local community services and organizations for returning citizens to visit.

Mahoning Valley area residents are looking to take advantage of the opportunity for networking and making connections as well as finding employment or improving their financial situations.
