Warren man gets 3 years in prison for shooting incident

WARREN — Jordan J. Devlin, 20, of Tod Avenue in Warren and Freedom Street in Alliance was sentenced Wednesday to three years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of felonious assault and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

The charges stem from an early-morning Oct. 7, 2015, incident on Lockwick Drive Northwest in which Devlin was accused of firing a handgun in the direction of a man, then looking up at a woman in an upstairs apartment, pointing the gun at her and saying "You're next."

There was a warrant for Devlin's arrest at the time accusing him of menacing the woman earlier, police said.

No one was injured.
