Boardman man jailed after domestic violence charges

BOARDMAN — A township man is in the Mahoning County jail without bond for a felony domestic violence charge on which he was arrested Wednesday.

Terry Marks, 52, of Erskine Avenue is charged with third-degree felony counts of domestic violence and harassment by an inmate.

The charges stem from an incident reported Wednesday afternoon in which a woman reported that Marks pushed her and spit in her hair and face during an argument regarding his intoxicated state.

Township police, according to a police report, observed red marks on her chest and spit in her hair.

The domestic violence charge was elevated to a felony due to previous domestic violence convictions, according to the report.
