Man stable after Tuesday night stabbing

YOUNGSTOWN — A 39-year-old man is in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after he was stabbed twice in the stomach late Tuesday evening.

Police were called about 10:15 p.m. in the 3400 block of Lenox Avenue and found the victim lying on the floor.

Police said the victim and witnesses have not been very cooperative about what led up to the stabbing.
