WARREN

Georgianna L. Moeller, 24, of South Street, was sentenced to five years’ probation Monday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court for being the driver when her boyfriend, Brandon M. Welz, 30, committed four break-ins at Trumbull County golf courses or taverns.

Moeller pleaded guilty earlier to four counts of breaking and entering, the same charges as Welz, 30, also of South Street, who went inside the four businesses and took the money.

Moeller was ordered to pay half of the restitution – $4,957 — for her part in the break-ins last May.

Sentenced to prison

WARREN

Felicia O. Nichols, 44, of Southern Boulevard was sentenced to six months in prison Monday in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court for stealing $10,183 from her job at Advanced Foot and Ankle Centers in Howland last April. She also was ordered to pay restitution.

She was convicted earlier of two felony offenses, grand theft and passing bad checks for writing five checks to herself between April 1, 2015, and April 16, 2015.

Annual choir event

BOARDMAN

The Boardman High School choirs will host the annual “Spring Sing” event at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. The show theme is “Back to Broadway.”

Meeting planned

YOUNGSTOWN

The Youngstown Charter Review Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. today in the Covelli Centre Community Room, 229 E. Front St.

The commission is looking at the city charter to recommend changes to city council. Council will determine what proposed changes will be on the November general election ballot.
