April auto sales in Valley decreased 16.9 percent

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning Valley saw a nearly 17 percent drop in auto sales in April.

In total, there were 4,247 new and used auto sales in April 2016 compared with 5,033 sold in April 2015, according to data released today by the Greater Cleveland Automobile Dealers’ Association.

The figures derive from auto titles processed at county title departments by the final business day each month.
