Teen struck by car at Route 46 in Austintown


AUSTINTOWN

A pedestrian was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after he was hit by a car Monday afternoon. Witnesses say Christian Stout, 14, was running across Route 46 in front of Panera when a white Cobalt struck him. Police and fire personnel responded, aiding the male to the side of the road before he was transported. Stout contacted his mother, Alissa Stout, while in the ambulance and said he is going to be alright.
