Driver in series of break-ins gets 5 years probation

WARREN — Georgianna L. Moeller, 24, of South Street, was sentenced to five years probation today in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court for being the driver when her boyfriend, Brandon M. Welz, 30, committed four break-ins at Trumbull County golf courses or taverns.

Moeller, pleaded guilty earlier to four counts of breaking entering, the same charges as Welz, 30, also of South Street, who went inside the four businesses and took the money.

Moeller was ordered to pay half of the restitution — $4,957 — for her part in the break-ins last May.

Judge Peter Kontos warned Moeller that she will be sentenced to prison of up to four years if she violates the terms of her probation.
