Charge follows spat over spilled milk

AUSTINTOWN

Officers arrested a man who allegedly threatened his wife after an argument over spilled milk.

According to the police report, a man became irate after his daughter spilled his glass of milk during dinner on Friday. After an argument broke out, the man told his wife if she left him he would find her and make her a vegetable.

She filed the police report the following day, followed her husband filing a missing person report for their daughter.

Officers charged Joel Curry, 24, of Westchester Drive, with domestic violence. Curry has a pretrial hearing at 4:30 p.m. June 13 at Mahoning County Area Court.
