Austintown Fitch 13, Brookfield 5
BROOKFIELD
Kayla Kelly notched four singles and an RBI for Fitch (11-11), while Ashley Fuller pitched seven innings and struck out six for the victory. Kaitlyn Scorinto also had four hits for the Falcons, Carlee Gaca hit a triple and two singles and Ashla Walker-Forest doubled, tripled and had two RBIs. For Brookfield, Julie First doubled and had three RBIs.
Ursuline 9-15, Garfield 5-14
YOUNGSTOWN
In game one, Jordyn Kenneally picked up her 16th win of the season and had two hits and two RBIs for Ursuline (17-3). Caroline Aey and Megan Ross each had two hits as well. In game two, the Fighting Irish came back from a 14-7 deficit, as Nikki Malkovits had three hits, including a two-run triple. Aey also had three hits and Bethany Rios and Gia Caldrone each chipped in with two.
South Range 7, Howland 6, 9 innings
LIBERTY
Codi Taylor’s RBI double scored winning pitcher Caragyn Yanek (19-2) with the winning run in the ninth inning. Morgan Smith’s three hits included a double and scored two runs for the Raiders. Morgan Czopur and Yanek each had two hits. Also hitting doubles were Felecia Gaeta and Hope Thomas while Lydia Baird drove in two runs. For Howland, Sara Price’s three hits included two homers. One was a two-run shot that tied the game in the seventh inning. Emma Adgate’s three hits included a double.
Champion 7, Howland 1
LIBERTY
Megan Turner hit a home run and had two RBIs to lead Champion, while Mckenzie Zigmont pitched a complete game, allowing just three hits and one run while striking out seven. Sarah Price went 2 for 3 for Howland, including a home run and an RBI.
Mathews 10, LaBrae 5
LIBERTY
Meredith Grimes’ three hits included a homer and double for the Mustangs (19-4). She scored twice and drove in two runs. Bailey Hall and Nicole Watts each had two hits while Naitlyn Simon contributed three RBIs.
Cardinal Mooney 8, Brookfield 2
LIBERTY
Cardinal Mooney’s Sydney Shugart scattered two runs and four hits in seven innings to get the win. Bridget Sweeney had two hits, including a triple and three RBIs. Adrianna Popovich doubled, singled and drove in two. Jordan McLay and Conchetta Rinaldi each had two hits to pace the Cardinals.
Cardinal Mooney 9, Chippewa 3
LIBERTY
Mooney notched four doubles and a triple as part of its 13 hits. Jordan McClay had three hits, including a three-run double, Conchetta Rinaldi doubled and tripled, both Bella Stanko and Bridget Sweeney doubled and Lauren Frommelt had two hits to lead Mooney. Shugart struck out two and didn’t walk anyone to get her second win of the day.

LIBERTY
Freshman Jenny Taraszewski pitched five innings of three-hit ball, striking out eight. Olivia Russell, Miyah Mitchum and Emily Humphrey doubled for the Spartans.
Lowellville 8, Struthers 1
STRUTHERS
Isabella Sotlar struck out seven and allowed just two hits in pacing the Rockets past Struthers. Courtney Conkiln notched a two-RBI double for Lowellville.
Columbiana 13-8, Mineral Ridge 1-3
MINERAL RIDGE
Marisa McDonough was the winning pitcher, striking out seven. Kennedy Fullum led the Clippers with three hits and two runs scored. Macey Garland had two hits while scoring Ridge’s only run. Alyssa Tohm struck out nine for the the Clippers in game two. She also added two hits.

Champion 5, Western Reserve 2
BERLIN CENTER
Jake Walters notched two RBIs and Rem Rable had two hits and scored two runs to lead Champion (15-3, 11-1). Andrew Russell struck out six over five innings and allowed just two runs to earn the win. Jaime DiCioccio and Derek Smith each had hits for Western Reserve (16-4, 8-2).
Ursuline 10, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin 1
CHARDON
Vito Petrillo pitched a complete game for Ursuline (14-8), striking out five and allowing four hits in seven innings. Drew Potesta went 3 for 4 with a double and four RBIs and Alex Scholsser went 2 for 4 with a double and two runs scored.
Howland 16, Mathews 8
HOWLAND
Craig Lewis had three hits and three RBIs and Dylan Beasom had three hits and scored three runs to pace Howland, which finished with 15 hits as a team. The Tigers scored eight runs in the sixth inning after Mathews tied the contest at eight. Dillion Canter went 4 for 4 for the Mustangs.
