Guerrilla marketing seminar scheduled

The Greater Warren-Youngstown Urban League and the State of Ohio Development Service Agency through its Minority Business Assistance Center will have a Guerrilla Marketing II for small businesses seminar May 24.

The free seminar will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Mahoning Valley Libraries New Port Branch, 3730 Market St.

New handcrafted market, workshop opens in Boardman

Three Sheep Gallery and Workshop, 6010 Market St., is now open.

The handcrafted arts business had its ribbon- cutting ceremony April 20.

Three Sheep promotes handcrafted arts, made by women, demonstrated and taught by women. The new business offers pottery, fiber arts, jewelry, soaps, etching, painting, honey making, sewing and doll-making demonstrations and classes. Three Sheep has a monthly “charity crafting day.” Completed projects on that day will be donated.

Three Sheep is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Power Program planned for May 20

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will have a “Power After Hours” event at Bourbon House 45, 775 Mahoning Ave. SW, on May 20.

Event registration will start at 5 p.m., with the program scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Power programs are networking events that are free to attend. Members order off the menu at their own cost.
