The wedding of Jenna Hamrock of Poland and Lawrence Sammartino of Boardman took place July 18, 2015, at Holy Family Church.

Monsignor Peter M. Polando officiated at the 1:30 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of James and Bonnie Hamrock of Poland and son of Laura Sammartino of Boardman.

A reception took place at The Lake Club. The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.

They live in Poland.

The bride’s strapless ballgown was designed with a sweetheart neckline embellished with crystal embroidery and featured a corset-style back. The mutli-tiered handkerchief skirt was adorned with sprays of beading and flowed to a chapel train.

Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Jaclyn Hamrock, and bridesmaids were Jennifer Codrea, the groom’s sister; Lisa Sammartino, the groom’s sister-in-law; Carrie Evans, the bride’s cousin; Christa Schroedel, the groom’s cousin; Krista Giannios; Danielle McClain; Allie Greene; and Kate Barringer. They wore black gowns with crystal accents. Junior bridesmaid was the groom’s niece, Francesca Sammartino, and flower girl was Giavanna Sammartino, the groom’s niece and goddaughter.

Chris and Matt Sammartino, the groom’s brothers, shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Jason Codrea, the groom’s brother-in-law; Sam Ciminero, the groom’s cousin; Rob DelSignore, the bride’s cousin; Brian Drummond; Tom Miller; Dean Palombaro; Tim Reigrut; Brian Schell; and Jonathan Zizzo.

Christopher Sammartino, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Sammartino holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in nurse anesthesia from the University of Akron. She is a certified Ohio registered nurse anesthetist at the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman.

A graduate of John Carroll University with a bachelor’s degree in education, Mr. Sammartino is an English and history teacher and coach with the Lowellville Local Schools.
