Belfair Plantation in Bluffton, S.C., was the setting at 4 p.m. March 12 for the wedding of Dana Duffett and Ben Green.
Parents of the bride are Dr. Raymond and Michele Duffett of Canfield. The groom is a son of Drs. Glen Green and Laurie Talty-Green of Virginia Beach, Va.
The Rev. Jim Wood officiated, and a reception followed at Belfair Clubhouse.
After a honeymoon trip to the British Virgin Islands, the couple live in Charleston, S.C.
Fashioned of Italian cotton guipure lace, the bride’s gown featured a fit and flare silhouette. A silk sash accented the waist.
Danielle Carr served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Dr. Katie Green-Meyer and Kristin Green, the groom’s sisters; Megan Lee; Sara Perregaux; and Allison Goodell, the bride’s cousin. They wore blush-colored gowns. Flower girls were the bride’s cousins, Ava Papantoniou and Colette Toklucu.
The duties of best man were performed by the groom’s brother, Zach Green, and groomsmen were Dr. Jared Meyer, the groom’s brother-in-law; Andrew and Ross Duffett, the bride’s brothers; David Ellington; Steve Farmartino; and Bobby Browning. Thatcher Meyer, the groom’s nephew, and Evan and Gavin Kessler, the bride’s cousins, were ring bearers. Ushers were Jacob Brown, Caleb Hopkins, Drew Hayes and Kevin Allman.
Mrs. Green holds a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Furman University and is employed as a medical scribe with Southern Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Mount Pleasant, S.C.
Mr. Green, who earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Furman, is employed in cardiovascular sales at St. Jude Medical in Charleston.
