Schools of Promise

Six Mahoning Valley schools are among 29 statewide designated as Schools of Promise by the Ohio Department of Education for maintaining high student academic achievement, including students who are economically disadvantaged. Of those six, five also earned designation as High Performing School of Honor for maintaining high student achievement and having 40 percent or more economically disadvantaged students. The schools:
