Eleventh annual Scout breakfast set at Avalon


WARREN

The public is invited to attend the 11th annual Trumbull County Friends of Scouting fundraising breakfast May 19 at the Avalon Inn and Resort, 9519 E. Market St.

The families of Trumbull County and the eastern part of Portage County are served by the Arrowhead District of the Greater Western Reserve Council, Boy Scouts of America, including families in Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake and Mahoning counties.

There is no fee to attend the breakfast, but donations will be appreciated.

The keynote speaker will be Bill Siderewicz, president of Clean Energy Future. His Massachusetts-based company has purchased more than 150 acres in Lordstown for a new multi-million dollar energy plant.

Doors will open at 7 a.m., and breakfast will begin at 7:15.
