Time Bank Mahoning Watershed to host Sharefest

Time Bank Mahoning Watershed will sponsor spring Sharefest 2016 from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave.
Time Bank members are community enthusiasts who wish to build a better Youngstown and surrounding areas. Members share talents, skills, friendship and/or items.
Highlights of the day will include:
A seed and plant swap sponsored by Jubilee Gardens. Bring your seeds or plants and trade them for new ones.
A small appliance and computer software repair caf by Timebank Mahoning Watershed’s own Ken Webber and Robert O’Daffer.
A “plarn” how-to demonstration by Timebank Mahoning Watershed’s own Hazel Nicholas. Bring in your extra plastic shopping bags and take home a rug or tote.
Book swap for those who wish to trade books.
A potluck lunch recipe swap. Bring a dish and share the recipe with your community. Each participant will be entered in a drawing with the chance to win a $20 Giant Eagle gift card. This is sponsored by Commonwealth Giant Eagle in Liberty.
A recreation station by Timebank Mahoning Watershed’s Kyrene Rodriguez and Arian O’Daffer. Bring in your old stuff and make it new again.
Various community outreach organizations and individuals offering skills, services and demonstrations.
