Mom of missing man plans vigil Saturday in Warren

Sharon Six, mother of missing Niles man Timothy Six Jr., is planning a vigil for her son at 1 p.m. Saturday at Waddell Park.

Her Facebook page says Sharon Six and other family members came to Trumbull County this week “to get answers” as to whether her son is the person whose bones were found behind the Econo Lodge on Youngstown Road in Warren April 26, but they will be returning to Florida Saturday night without knowing for sure.

Her Facebook post says she is pretty sure the remains are her son’s because she’s been told the clothes with the bones are the ones he had on the day he went missing.

Dr. Humphrey Germaniuk, Trumbull County coroner, told the family that his dental records are similar to the teeth on the remains, the post says. Dr. Germaniuk will be seeking confirmation from a specialist, the post says.

Timothy, 36, of Niles was last seen Feb. 18, 2014, at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Germaniuk told The Vindicator Wednesday that there were no obvious signs of foul play on the bones, but a forensic anthropologist will have to make the determination of how the person died.
