Jurors debate fate of accused murderers
YOUNGSTOWN
Jurors in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court today returned today to deliberate in the cases of Michael Austin, 22 and Hakeem Henderson.
The pair face four counts of aggravated murder and engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Austin faces a separate charge of attempted murder.
Prosecutors say the pair were enforcers for an East Side drug ring. Four other people will be tried later.
Judge John M. Durkin is hearing the case.
Jurors began deliberating at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday and were dismissed about 5:30 p.m.
