BOARDMAN
Dan Stilliana doubled with one out in the bottom of the eighth and Gaven Strines singled him home to lead Boardman past Poland (18-3, 9-1). With the victory, the Spartans (12-9, 8-1 All-American Conference Red) tied the Bulldogs for a share of the league title. Boardman starter Jared Jay pitched 7 2/3 innings, allowing just one run on five hits. Vince Garayua took the loss for Poland, allowing two runs on seven hits in 7 1/3 innings. Stilliana and Lou Cardona each finished with two hits for the Spartans. Anthony Calcagni and Pad O’Shaugnessy had two hits for the Bulldogs.
Canfield 6, Howland 0
HOWLAND
Luke Kelty and Joe Delucia led Canfield with two hits and two RBIs, while Alex Thompson had three hits. Jack Rafoth got the win for the Cardinals, striking out two and only giving up three hits. Nick Badanjek, Tyler Lumadue, and Zachary Campbell led Howland with one hit each.
Campbell 11, East 3
YOUNGSTOWN
Yianni Koullias had two hits and one run for Campbell, which has won seven out of their last nine games. Joel Flores got the win for the Red Devils and Mikael Torres came in and pitched three innings in relief. For East, Malik Caige scored two runs and struck out four batters.
Hubbard 5, Lakeside 3
ASHTABULA
Ryan Love, Kent Kroynovich and Anthony Laird each had two hits in the win over Lakeside (6-9) while Nick Ferrera pitched a complete game as well. Hubbard (16-6) led 3-2 headed into the seventh inning but added two runs for insurance.

STRUTHERS
Jake Rudzik and Adam Sedzmak each drove in an RBI in the sixth inning to give Struthers the lead. Pat Carano and Mason Morell each had singles for the Wildcats and John Medvec drove in one RBI. Pat Carano got the win for Struthers, giving up two hits and no earned runs. Colton Wilber had a triple for Jefferson and drove in one run while Tyler Mills went 2-for-4 with a run.

NILES
Geno Barricella notched three hits for the Red Dragons and Jaret Johnson pitched a four-hit, complete-game shutout. Johnson also had a hit and two RBIs.
Newton Falls 5, Brookfield 0
BROOKFIELD
Dylan McAvoy tossed a complete-game shutout for the Tigers, striking out nine and allowing just four hits. Noah Suarez had three hits and Benny Koontz added two for Newton Falls. Brian Hiner notched three hits for the Warriors.

STRUTHERS
Brice Bokesch went six innings for the Irish, allowing just one run on six hits. Vinny Lucente struck out the side in the seventh to earn save. Vito Petrillo and Bobby Cavalier each had a single and an RBI to lead Ursuline’s offense.

EAST PALESTINE
The Tigers scored in the first, second and third innings and led throughout. Shane Eynon had two hits, one run and one RBI while Nathan Sommers added two hits in the win. Andy Sodergren pitched four innings, allowing no runs and struck out five to pick up the win. Marshall Huddleston and Trevor Kimmel had two hits apiece for East Palestine.

HANOVERTON
Anthony Ritter had three hits, including a double, and Travis Baxter had two hits for South Range (13-9, 5-2 Inter-Tri County League Red), which took advantage of six United errors. Dan Ritter got the win for the Raiders, tossing six innings, while Trent Harrold earned the win. For United, Graham had three hits and two RBIs and Mikell notched two hits.

WELLSVILLE
The Blue Devils scored five runs in the fifth to end the contest early. David Toot allowed only two hits and two walks while striking out eight in the win. Cam Summers went 3 for 4 with two RBIs and Nick Bowen went 2 for 4 with three RBIs and a run scored. Logan Bell and Bailey McCullough also had two hits for Lisbon (12-8, 6-2 ITCL White).
Western Reserve 7, Jackson-Milton 4
NORTH JACKSON
Wyatt Larimer earned the win for Western Reserve, which improved to 16-1 overall and 8-1 in the ITCL Blue tier. Eric Ostrowski took the loss for Jackson-Milton, which fell to 13-5, 8-1. The two teams play again today for the conference title.

VIENNA
The Mustangs (15-2, 9-2 Northeastern) scored two in the bottom of the sixth to come from behind to win. Rob Helmich had four strikeouts, picking up the win while Anthony Oulton had two hits including a double. Curtis Houser had a double for Badger.

YOUNGSTOWN
The Tigers jumped out with a run in the first but the Irish blew open the game with three runs in the second and third innings. Mckenzie Shells and Megan Ross each had two hits. Shells had an RBI and a run scored while Ross drove in a run as well. Jordan Kenneally got the win to improve to 13-5. Sara Price went 3 for 3 with two home runs and four RBIs for Howland.

WARREN
McKenzie Luknis led the Falcons (8-10) with two doubles, a single, a sac fly, and three RBIs while Christina Tucker contributed two singles and an RBI. For Harding (2-16), Payton Schuller contributed two singles.

In the first game, McKenzie Zigmont 911-1) fired a no-hitter, striking out nine and walking one. Zigmont, Molly Williams, Megan Turner and Alex Steigerwald each had two hits. Turner drove in three runs. In the second game, Jackie Mulvain (2-2) was the winning pitcher, striking out six and walking one. Turner’s four hits included a triple and two doubles and drove in four runs for the Golden Flashes (16-4, 10-1 AAC Blue). Mulvain drove in three runs while Abby White and Steigerwald each had two hits. For the Leopards, Amy Mikulich and Allie Alder each had two hits.

Kylee Mann tripled and doubled, Beady Titus hit two doubles while Avery Steiner, Tori Wells and Meg Stein each had one for the Bulldogs (12-4, 8-1 AAC White). Mann Titus and Sam Marino each had two RBIs. For the Red Dragons, Hannah Wharton’s two hits included a double.

Haley Tohm had three singles, a double and knocked in five runners in the win. Danyelle McMaster had three RBIs and two hits while Elise Hammond had two RBIs on two hits. Alyssa Tohm allowed two hits and struck out six.

Tara Beckhems, Jenna Ballas and Natalie Georgaias each had two hits for Newton Falls, while Kate Wainwright hit a home run. Ballas also pitched seven innings for the Tigers, striking out six. Kenzie Drapola and Lauren Pesa each had two hits and a home run for Brookfield.

Addy Jarvis tossed six shutout innings, struck out 17 and allowed just one hit to pace Hubbard. Emma Wukelich went 4 for 4 to lead the Eagles’ offense.

Codi Taylor led South Range with two singles and two runs, while Hannah Dennison, Felicia Gaiata, and Taylor Ross each contributed an additional run. Madison Weaver and Hope Thomas each had doubles for the Raiders. Caragyn Yanek got the win, giving up two walks and striking out 10. Anna Patterson took the loss for United, giving up three walks and striking out four.

Rachel Ward went 3 for 4 with a double and a home run while also striking out five to pick up a win. Cheyenne Titus had three hits including a double and a triple while Kerrigan McDermott had three hits for McDonald (13-2-1). Courtney Conklin had two hits for the Rockets.

Maddie Krietzburg tossed seven innings and struck out seven to earn the win for Western Reserve, while Gabbie Baranowski led the offensive attack with two hits and two RBIs. She notched the go-ahead two-out, two-RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning. Sierra Pierce took the loss for Jackson-Milton despite going all seven innings and striking out four. Pierce homered and had two RBIs, while Jenny Stubbs, Maia Cormell and Sydney Miller all had two hits for Western Reserve.
