Police responding to a multiple-vehicle crash on I-680

YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is responding to a multiple-vehicle crash on Interstate 680 North at Meridan Road.

City police were initially called but they will be controlling traffic until state troopers get to the scene. The accident is in their jurisdiction.

A spokesman said he did not yet know how many vehicles are involved in the accident.
