Playhouse names operations manager
YOUNGSTOWN
Youngstown Playhouse board of directors has named James McClellan as the new operations manager. He will take over for Bernie Appugliese, who will be pursuing opportunities out of town in the future. Appugliese will assist with the transition.
Best known for his acting, singing and dancing talents on stage, McClellan has worked in various capacities at the Youngstown Symphony Society, Easy Street Productions and Ballet Western Reserve.
McClellan studied theater and music at Youngstown State University.
Rust Belt Theater extends ‘Godiva’
YOUNGSTOWN
Rust Belt Theater Company, 755 Mahoning Ave., will extend the run of “Godiva: A Burlesque Musical” for another weekend. Added shows will take place at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Pride Youngstown plans pageant
YOUNGSTOWN
Pride Youngstown plans the 2016 Pride Youngstown Pageant for 6 p.m. Friday in Kilcawley Center at Youngstown State University.
Admission is free. This event is open to YSU students and the public. Parking is $5 for non-YSU students.
Contestants compete in evening wear and performance segments for the title and the opportunity to represent Pride Youngstown for the year. Competitors will be vying for the crown and title of Miss Pride Youngstown and Mr. Pride Youngstown.
The 2016 Pride Youngstown Pageant is a co-production of Pride Youngstown, YSUnity and YSU. The Pride Youngstown Festival is set for July 16.
