EOMAC meeting takes place Thursday

VIENNA — The 910th Airlift Wing will host an Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission meeting at the Community Activity Center from 1-3 p.m. at the Air Reserve Station in Vienna on Thursday.

The EOMAC meeting will kick off with opening remarks by 910th Airlift Wing Commander Col. James Dignan joined by Vito Abruzzino and John Rossi, both representing EOMAC.

Members of Ohio’s federal delegation including U.S. Sen. Rob Portman, U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan and U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, are scheduled to make remarks.

The audience will hear about progress EOMAC has made since its founding about one year ago. Members of the commission will also discuss future plans and projects with meeting attendees.

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber launched the Eastern Ohio Military Affairs Commission in 2015 to highlight the military value of the Youngstown Air Reserve Station and other installations throughout Eastern Ohio.
