McClellan appointed operations manager at Youngstown Playhouse

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Playhouse board of directors has appointed James McClellan as the new operations manager.

He will take over for Bernie Appugliese, who will be pursuing opportunities out of town in the future. Appugliese will assist with the transition during the next month.

Although best known for his talents on the stage acting, dancing and singing, McClellan is no stranger to the operations of non-profit performing arts centers. He has worked in different capacities at Youngstown Symphony Society, Easy Street Productions and Ballet Western Reserve.

McClellan studied at Youngstown State, majoring in theater with a minor in music.
