“Penny Dreadful” (10 p.m., Showtime): The Victorian horror drama returns for a third season that will introduce Dr. Jekyll and Dracula to the mix. In the opener, Scotland Yard Inspector Rusk (Douglas Hodge) keeps a wary eye on his prisoner, Ethan (Josh Hartnett), while on a train speeding through the desert. Elsewhere, a mysterious Native American man confronts Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), and Vanessa (Eva Green) seeks the help of Dr. Seward (Patti LuPone) to battle a new evil.

Spring concert by school bands
BOARDMAN
The Boardman High School bands’ spring concert will take place Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. Admission is $3 ($2 for students; free for senior citizens).
The concert will feature the combined Concert/Symphonic Band and the BHS Wind Ensemble.
