SENIOR CITIZENS
Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Canfield Presbyterian Church, 140 W. Main St. Blood pressure screening is available from noon to 12:45 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Canfield Middle School Band under the direction of Jim Volenik. June 16 is a bus trip to Cleveland Playhouse Square to see the new production of “Phantom of the Opera.” Included is a luncheon at the Welshfield Inn in Burton, Ohio. Dinner entree choice will be made with reservation. July 25 is a mystery trip. Call Barb at 330-757-0780 for information about the trips. The June meeting will feature Dave Goddard with antique automated musical instruments, and July will be a luncheon at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet for their monthly meeting at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall Conference Room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside. Lunch will be provided. Call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176 for reservations. New members and guests are welcome and do not need to be Lowellville residents. For illnesses or deaths notify Mary Mascarella, sunshine chairman, at 330-536-8748. A 50-50 raffle and bingo will follow the business meeting.
SOAR 27-2 and 27-6 Steelworkers Retirees, Local Union 1330 and 1331, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Smith Corners United Methodist Church, 3000 S. Niles-Canfield Road. Refreshments will be served, and new members are welcome.
Youngstown State University Freetimers monthly breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s in Cornersburg. All retirees are invited.
