Historical group plans antique, collectible fair

NEW CASTLE, PA.

Lawrence County Historical Society will host an antiques and collectibles appraisal fair with professional antique appraisers from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Medure Annex of the society, 408 N. Jefferson St.

Professional experts will be on hand to appraise items from trading cards to furniture. Paintings, jewelry, coins, toys, military items, clocks, books, glassware, advertising, sports memorabilia, stamps, post cards, vintage clothing and accessories will be appraised. The experts also will evaluate photos of items too large to take to the event.

The cost is $5 for two items and $10 for up to five items.
