Get vet questions answered at Animal Charity's Mutt Mingle Friday

Boardman Park and Animal Charity will be hosting a free Star Paws Mutt Mingle from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road.

The event will feature dog vendors and nonprofit dog rescues. Participants also can have questions answered by a local vet and socialize with other dog owners.

Food and concessions will be available. Participants can bring their dogs dressed like a Star Wars character for a chance to win a prize.

Paws Town Dog Park will be open to the public from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day for dogs and their owners to enjoy. Pick up an application that day to join the dog park and receive $5 off the yearly membership, or refer a friend for a chance to be entered into a drawing.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Animal Charity and Paws Town.
