UPDATE | No one injured at Y'town funeral shooting

YOUNGSTOWN — No one was injured this morning at a funeral service for the victim of a March 20 homicide.

Detectives said some sort of dispute broke out about 11:45 p.m. at the New Vision New Day Church, 1970 Everett Ave., during services for Marquise Shelton, 23.

Someone involved in the dispute fired several shots outside the church. No one was injured but at least two cars suffered bullet damage.

Shelton was killed in a home in the 400 block of Idora Avenue. Detectives said his death came after an argument over a video game. An arrest has yet to be made in that case.
