Boy Scouts executive speaks to Struthers Rotary
SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR | The Struthers Rotary Club meeting on March 1 featured a presentation from John Schlobohm, assistant Scout executive with the Boy Scouts of America Greater Western Reserve Council. Rotarian Al Sauline hosted. Schlobohm shared his 33 years of experience with the Boy Scouts during his speech and highlighted local outreach programs like Scout-reach, a partnership with Down Syndrome Association, and an Exploring/Venturing activity program. He also shared information about positive membership numbers and updates to Scouting’s merit badge system.
